Last week our Grizzly 4 classes had a fun and educational outing at Chimi Farm. Our little “farmers-for-the-day” had hands-on experience harvesting vegetables by picking ripe tomatoes and digging for potatoes. They also learned about growing and harvesting strawberries and grapes. They were able to meet and feed some of the farm’s resident animals, including pigs, sheep, goats, and rabbits; and even had time to play on the farm playground. It was such a fun day and will definitely be a trip to remember for all of our smallest Grizzlies!
