Welcome Message

Mr. Darrin Barker

Kindergarten & Elementary Principal

St. Mary’s International School

Welcome Parents and Students!

Welcome to St. Mary’s International School, a truly unique and exceptional school. At St. Mary’s, we want every student to succeed and are committed to working with our community to ensure our students learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment. We work to create a positive and challenging academic experience for your child. You and the entire St. Mary’s International School staff share a mutual interest in your child’s educational experience.

Investing in academics, character and culture, we provide a high-quality American curriculum alongside regular values-based lessons and culturally relevant specials courses taught by our highly qualified Vietnamese staff. We also offer many exciting academic and extracurricular opportunities to help our students develop outside the classroom. We encourage students to take advantage of all the school has to offer and to accept the many challenges they will face with interest and enthusiasm.

At St. Mary’s, we have a strong community spirit and our community members are proud to be Grizzlies. We believe our core values drive what we do everyday and motivate us all to R.E.A.C.H our true potential:

Responsibility Being dependable, making good choices, and taking accountability for your actions. A responsible person looks out for the well-being of others and understands we all have a part to play in making the world a better place.
Equality Equality is about ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents.
Achievement Achievement means improving academic outcomes for students to ensure their success in school and life.
Confidence Confidence is about believing in your own abilities. It encourages students to take risks, express their creativity and invest in the work they produce at school. A confident person is more likely to be optimistic, motivated and have a “can do” attitude.
Honesty Honesty is being truthful in what you say and do.

All St Mary’s students will be well prepared for today’s challenges to become tomorrow’s active members of society.

If you have any questions about our school, please feel free to contact me or our Admissions Team.

Sincerely,

Darrin Barker, Principal
