In Ms. Jannell’s art class, our youngest Grizzlies are embarking on an exciting journey through the world of colors, beginning with the essentials: red, green, and yellow. At this pivotal stage, where imagination flourishes, children are naturally drawn to creating vibrant mental images and weaving colorful stories. Research in developmental psychology tells us that ages 3-5 are a ‘golden age’ for creativity, and by exploring primary colors, our smallest Grizzlies are not only unlocking their artistic potential but also building the foundation for deeper cognitive growth. And on top of all that – they are having so much fun! |
