Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Jannell

🐾 Leading our youngest Grizzly class this year, is Ms. Jannell Caldwell. Ms. Jannell is originally from Delaware in the United States. She comes to St. Mary’s with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms Jannell has served as a Head Kindergarten Teacher, Early Years Educator, as well as an ELL Teacher. She will be joining St. Mary’s as our Grizzly 3/4 Teacher.
🐻 In Ms. Jannell’s class, students learn to be outspoken and confident. She has high expectations and compassion for her students, which allows them to grow into their full selves. Ms. Jannell incorporates the No Nonsense Nurturing technique developed by Kristyn Klei Borrero into her classes. This approach helps her stay consistent, accountable, and authentic in creating the best environment for her students.
⭐ If. Ms. Jannell could be famous for one thing, it would be writing a scary book series for children because she loved scary books when she was younger and still enjoys reading and writing. When she isn’t teaching, Ms. Jannell can be found enjoying a jog around the city looking for new boutiques and local shops, playing tennis, having dinner with friends, or reading at a coffee shop.
💫 Please join me in extending a warm Grizzly welcome to Ms. Jannell!
